School? (Girls only please??)?

Do you think it would be okay to wear a tampon to school? I barely have time to go to the bathroom all day except for athletics but I have to be fast so I was wondering if it was okay to wear one all day and change when I get home? It's about 7 hours. I perfer tampons because they are more comfortable and more discreet than pads. Is there really a high risk of me getting TSS?
