We were just discharged from our chapter 7 bankruptcy, my car is about to break down, how long do we?

have to wait before we can can get a car loan with a co-signer? I have a 5yr old daughter and we both have jobs, and cant possibly not have a running vehicle? Any insight will be helpful. thanks in advance.
