What are the pro's and con's of the electoral college?

There are no Cons to it if you are smart enough to understand our system of government- the United STATES of America is a UNION of STATES the president is like a super governor- the president is the president of the UNION of STATES. Not hard to understand- each STATE holds an election to determine who their STATE is going to vote for as president of the UNION. The STATES vote for the president not the people and that is how it should be in our system.
