Did Felix Mendelssohn feel threatened by his sister's talent?

Absolutely NO!!! I NEVER hear of it! I think, and from what I have learned from the history of music, that he was very supportive! I think he liked when she composed music. Also, I never heard that, from the books about history of music, he criticized her of telling her that she doesn't know to compose, or something like that... From what I know, he was good and very supportive man...
