Question about leeds university?

For fashion Leeds is rubbish! I went there and absolutely hated it - I don't know how much this applies to the rest of the art or design courses, because a few of my friends did fine art and loved it, and most of my problems with my course were the utterly crap tutors, the things they taught were really below a normal standard and I feel like it was a total waste of three years. I didn't like the city very much either - I've lived in much better cities, but there were some other things about the uni that I liked, like it has a really good atmosphere, the union is great and has a whole nightlife all in one building, and they do elective modules with all of their degrees so you get to pick one completely random subject each term to study which can be unrelated to your course, so I found that refreshing and a good way to broaden your mind a bit. But other than that I would never reccommend my course to anyone. Is there a reason why it's just those two that you're choosing between, coz they seem like two very random ones?! Leeds college of art and design is supposed to be quite good for a foundation course, so maybe you could try there and then make a decision about a degree later?
