How long before I see results on the atkins diet?

I started Atkins and I'm just finishing my fourth week. In the first two weeks (called induction) you should lose 5-10% of what you're trying to lose. Until I hit a plateau this week I had been losing 1-2lbs a day. I was eating less than 20 carbs a day and only exercising about 10 minutes a day (high intensity interval training). Even though when you do hit a plateau your fat cells still shrink so you're still losing inches but not pounds. Just make sure if you are going to do Atkins that you know everything about it so you don't end up harming your body.
